Plaza del Sol

This shopping center was the fifth in Latin America1 and the second shopping center in Mexico, inaugurated on November 25, 19692.

Teatro Degollado

La Minerva
Address: Av 8 de Julio 55, Zona Centro, 44100 Guadalajara, Jal., Mexico .It is a circular fountain with a diameter of 74 meters. In the center is the statue of the goddess Minerva (the Roman version of the goddess Athena), which measures eight meters from head to toe. She is a standing female figure with her right leg slightly backward and her trunk slightly turned to give the impression of movement; she is wrapped in a two-piece, sleeveless tunic, cinched at the waist. Over her shoulders and covering her chest she carries the aegis; on her head she wears a war helmet with a Roman-style crest. He holds in his hand a long spear or pike resting on the ground pointing upward, slightly higher than the height of the helmet crest. In his left hand he holds a round argolic shield in the center of which appears the gorgoneion; resting against the ground and between it and the shield is a thick python. She stands almost in the center of the circle formed by the fountain on an almost cubic pedestal which is flanked by two long walls slightly lower than the pedestal. On these walls are recorded two legends; on the obverse: "JUSTICE, SABIDURIA Y FORTALEZA CUSTODIA A ESTA LEAL CIUDAD" and "A LA GLORIA DE GUADALAJARA".
Distrito La Perla
Address: Av. Mariano Otero 408, Jardines del Sol, 45050 Zapopan, Jal., Mexico .In 2021, one of the newest plazas in Guadalajara opened: Distrito La Perla. It is located where the Kodak factory used to be. It is a complex that includes, in addition to the shopping plaza, offices, apartments and many green spaces, promoting sustainable development. Its commercial offer is headed by the Liverpool department store, with one of the largest stores in the country. The store's façade has a spectacular design, better than that of the brand's other stores. The interior of the store is no slouch either, as there are sections and brands that you won't find in their other branches.
It is one of the largest shopping malls in Guadalajara and will have one of the best commercial offerings in western Mexico, competing head to head with other malls in the city. You will find stores such as GAP (including its stand-alone children's clothing space), as well as Banana Republic and the Spanish stores Punt Roma and Sfera. It will also have a large store of the famous sports brand Nike in addition to other renowned clothing brands such as Zara, The North Face and Emporio Armani.
La Gran Plaza Fashion Mall

Ignacio L Vallarta 3959, Don Bosco Vallarta, 45049 Zapopan, Jal., Mexico .La Gran Plaza Guadalajara, inaugurated in 1995, is one of the most traditional plazas in Guadalajara and over the years continues to be very popular. Although many other shopping malls have been inaugurated, this site continues to be at the forefront by adding different stores. Its commercial offer is headed by Liverpool and Sears department stores, in addition to more than 100 stores. Some of the fashion brands that have a presence here are Massimo Dutti, Forever 21, American Eagle or Zara.
You can also shop at other stores such as Studio F, Bershka, C&A, Springfield and the Innovasport sports store. One of the best things about La Gran Plaza is that it has many restaurants with different types of cuisines so there are options for everyone in places like IHOP, the Italian Olive Garden or Arby's.
